Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) is a globally recognized pre-university programme offered at Sunway College for more than 30 years. The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) of Western Australia, on behalf of the Government of Western Australia, overseas the quality implementation of the AUSMAT programmes. Students are awarded the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) upon successful completion of the AUSMAT programme.

Programme Structure

The AUSMAT programme is delivered over two semesters (January, March and April intakes) or three semesters (September intake).

AUSMAT programme practices the blended learning approach which combines face-to-face instruction and self-directed learning via an e-learning platform and the internet. Teaching and learning happens through a dual-mode approach. With this approach students must bring their own electronic devices i.e. laptop or tablet.

Choice of Subjects

Students are required to take five (5) subjects from the list, including English or English as an Additional Language/Dialect.
