In recent years, there has been a heated discussion about the role school plays in children’s education. Now there is a growing number of people declaring that schools should teach their pupils to conduct themselves and make them know virtues of humanity. Personally, I am in much favor of this claim and I will discuss it in my essay.

To begin with, good behavior can help with your personal development. People with good behavior know how to dress and talk in different occasions, which will make them easier to be successful. One of my friends is an HR manager who interviews people. He told me that good behavior is very important for the interviewees, because good behavior makes people look professional and professionalism is what companies value very much. Someone who is sloppy or unpolite is not trustworthy and unlikely to be employed.

What's more, having good behavior is the foundation of being a qualified citizen in our society nowadays. A person with good behavior is always polite, modest and respect others and abide by the laws and moral principals. European Cup is such a great sports game and attracts many football fans and match viewers from around the world. However, the wonderful games are not the only focus; the football hooligans drew people’s attention by their great “deed” in France. They have fought on the streets, destroyed several cafes and bars and even caused injuries of many innocent people. If those football hooligans had been educated well and been given a lesson about how to have good behavior, they wouldn’t have been so violent..

Clearly, good behavior has many impact in our lives which will affect our first impression and integrity. As a consequence, schools should pay more attention to students’ behavior and teach them to form good behavior in addition to providing formal education.
