總體來看，這屆的英國高考，私校的教學水平依舊保持高水準，在被統計的425所學校中，尤其是在A以上分數的占比（47.9% vs 26.3%），明顯高于全國水平。男學生今年首次超越女學生，分數達到A以上的有26.2%，女學生數據則為24.3%。

2017年英國高考A level成績、中考GCSE成績相繼在8月17日、8月24日出爐，8月26日和9月2日Telegraph（《每日電訊報》）分別公布了ISC（英國私立學校委員會 Independent School Council）對私立學校（independentschools）高考和中考成績的最新排名。

高考排名根據達到A*／A的學生比例而定；中考排名根據A*-A或9-7優(yōu)秀率而定。

需要注意的是：像往年一樣，有很多私立中學拒絕公布它們的成績，所以在這份榜單里，你將不會看到諸如伊頓公學、哈羅公學之類的熟悉的身影。但是通過這個排名，家長還是可以對英國私校整體的排名有大致了解。

2017年高考A level成績表現：

總體來看，這屆的英國高考，私校的教學水平依舊保持高水準，在被統計的425所學校中，尤其是在A以上分數的占比（47.9% vs 26.3%），明顯高于全國水平。男學生今年首次超越女學生，分數達到A以上的有26.2%，女學生數據則為24.3%。

今年混合私校（Mixed Independent School）成績走勢強勁，共有7所學校殺入總體榜單前十名。女校和男校各有兩所進入總體榜單前十。

和去年一樣，卡迪夫中學 (Cardiff Sixth Form College)仍然以絕對優(yōu)勢穩(wěn)居排行榜第一的位置。今年卡迪夫中學參加A-level考試的畢業(yè)生中，取得A-A*成績的學生比例高達91.4%，它也是唯一一所A-A*成績百分比上90%的中學。
